Tri-fold Questionnaire

How the Menopause Type® Was Calculated:

This computerized analysis determines Menopause Type® based on the percentage of symptoms in five symptom categories. The symptoms from each category are mixed throughout the different sections of the questionnaire. The data is extracted and compiled mathematically and subjected to basic algorithmic interpretation. A percent score of 50% or more will result in choosing a specific symptom category. Symptom categories are then compiled and analyzed to report a specific Menopause Type®.

These results are based on the computerized analysis of the Menopause Type® and reveal your Menopause Type® based on your subjective symptoms related to menopause. Subjective symptoms are symptoms you experience and may report to a healthcare professional or enter on a questionnaire. Aches, pains, hot flashes, fatigue, decreased libido and irritability are examples of subjective findings.

As noted, it is also important to evaluate the objective signs of menopause. Objective signs can be observed by a healthcare professional directly or with the use of medical instruments or tests. Rashes, lumps, X-ray reports, bone density studies, EKG readouts, hormone levels and other lab tests are examples of objective signs.
